Why Does Capacity Building Matter?
Nonprofit leaders consistently tell us that operational strain (not passion!) is often the greatest barrier to impact.
Strong governance, sound financial systems, effective fundraising, and clear communications are essential for long-term sustainability. Capacity building strengthens these core elements so organizations can serve the community with confidence and resilience.
Through Support Cabarrus, the Greater Cabarrus Foundation invests in the infrastructure behind the mission.
Rooted in Community. Built on Collaboration.
Support Cabarrus was developed in response to conversations with nonprofit leaders across Cabarrus County. This work reflects a shared commitment to strengthening organizations through partnership, peer expertise, and practical support.
As part of the Greater Cabarrus Foundation, Support Cabarrus extends our mission beyond grantmaking, investing directly in the long-term sustainability of the nonprofit sector.
